Burudika Manyara Lodge is an affordable accommodation within the Jangwani wildlife corridor
area that joins the wildlife ecosystem of Tarangire and Manyara National Parks. The lodge provides a spectacular view of Lake Manyara and the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley. Jangwani wildlife corridor area is within the Mto wa Mbu Game Controlled Area (GCA) where different mammals and bird species roam freely between Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks. It is home to a stunning diversity of wildlife in the typically sun-drenched savannah of East Africa.This area also is home to the Maasai community who have co-existed with wildlife for a long time because of their non-hunting culture. With 6 cosy Bandas, built from walls decorated with volcanic stone and topped with coconut thatched roofs, each Banda reveals a genuine Tanzanian atmosphere. The use of canvas windows with secure mosquito netting, not only allows for constant air-flow, but also intensifies the safari experience. Each Banda consists of a spacious bedroom with Tanzanian styled wooden beds interwoven with sisal ropes; mosquito nets and working desk. The en-suite bathrooms entail a hand basin, separated shower and separated toilet. Towels, slippers, toiletries and morning cloth are provided. From the reclining chairs on your private sheltered veranda you will have amazing views of Lake Manyara and the majestic Great Rift Valley escarpment.
